Boeing begins assembly of first plane in $4.2 billion order

Article Abstract:

A $4.2 billion contract has been signed between the South Korean Air Force and the Boeing Company for 40 F-15K fighter aircraft that will incorporate the latest military technologies. This decision on the part of the Republic of Korea (ROK) is in response to North Korea's open admission of plans to develop nuclear weapons and the likelihood of its producing chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction as well.

Boeing seeks Korean early warning aircraft contract

Article Abstract:

The Boeing company offers a 737 aircraft to the republic of Korea for the EX airborne early warning, command and control system (AEW&C) contract. With this contract, the Boeing believes that Korea would gain the advantage of a system and this contract will provide airborne battle management capability with 10 state-of-the-art mission system consoles.

McCain blasts Air Force over Boeing tanker deal

Article Abstract:

US Sen. John McCain accused Air Force secretary James Roche of lying about the condition of the tankers. He also accused Roche of telling a Boeing lobbyist to pressure the Pentagon's top acquisition official to lease hundred of the company's seven hundred and sixty seven airliners for use as aerial tankers.
