IBM

Article Abstract:

International Business Machines (IBM) performed better than expected in 2nd qtr 1995, but concern over technology shares has affected share prices. US demand could be growing less rapidly in 1995, and demand in some European countries is still sluggish. Mainframes account for some 50% of IBM's revenues. The performance of the company's shares will depend in part on the performance of technology stocks as a whole, and on the US economic recovery.
