Characteristics of job rotation in the Midwest US manufacturing sector

Article Abstract:

The job rotation practices were surveyed in various Midwest US manufacturing companies with the use of a web-based questionnaire to study the prevalence, benefits and limitations of job rotation, which is mainly used to reduce the work related injuries. The medical restrictions imposed on certain individuals, decrement of the products' quality and lack of jobs to rotate were found to be the major limitations faced while implementing job rotation.

A study on the student pilot's mental workload due to personality types of both instructor and student

Article Abstract:

The ideal flight crew combinations for instructor and student is provided in order to enhance the flight training effects based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) theory. Mental workload measures such as heart rate, altitude deviation and subjective degree of personality harmony is used to find an ideal combination of instructor-student pilots according to MBTI personality type.

Internal locus of control and choice in health service shift workers

Article Abstract:

A study explores the relationship between shift work-specific locus of control (SH-LOC), active choice of work schedule and health outcomes, personal initiatives and coping behaviors in health service shift workers. Results demonstrate that higher shift work-related internal locus is linked to better tolerance to shift work.
