Net PR taking over traditional media relations

Online news bureaus are becoming more popular in the field of press relations. Companies, such as General Motors Corp, Ford Motor Co, Nissan Motor Corp USA and Bell Atlantic Corp, were able to deflect phone inquiries to the Internet, where they could respond to media requests immediately and cost effectively. Information, such as news releases, new product information, media kits and digitized photos, are made more obtainable by placing them online.

Making e-commerce part of everyday life

Article Abstract:

E-commerce will transform the nation's society in many ways but especially in the area of food and commodities purchasing. One online supermarket shopping services firm gives such superior customer service which other Internet-based companies should emulate. An evaluation of this supermarket shopping online company's customer service shows that online services need not be afraid of suing telephone calls to strengthen customer relations and that people will pay extra for extra service especially if it saves them time and inconvenience.
