Cobham

Article Abstract:

Cobham is a precision engineer and aerospace concern which has a wide range of communications, weapons and fuel technologies with good prospects. The markets were concerned about profits at the Westwind operation, but these concerns were exaggerated, as result show. Westwind is likely to show flat profits for 1999, but demand could increase by the end of the year. Most of Cobham's businesses should benefit from strong growth. The company is carrying out a three-year modernization program which ends in 2000.
