United Kingdom computer companies are looking for new avenues of distribution and dealer support. They would like a system that provides shelf space along with full back-up services. These services would include advice on software applications, training facilities, and maintenance support. In order to provide the support customers are demanding some computer manufacturers have set up their own service outlets. Some United Kingdom computer manufacturers' methods of distribution are discussed.

TV Makes Inroads in U.K. Business Advertising

Article Abstract:

Business-to-business advertisers in the United Kingdom are increasingly turning to television advertising. The new Channel Four, owned by ITV, plans to develop this new market. British commercial television stations feel that the combination of Channel Four and ITV can provide business advertisers with better exposure to target groups than can be reached in print.
