M and G Group saw and increase in marketing and administration costs in FY 1994-1995, which affected the company's profits. The company increased its market share to 10.9% from 10.2% in this period. The company saw a drop in net sales of both investment trusts and unit trusts, and a rise in sales of personal equity plans. The UK market for retail savings products underwent a contraction in this period. The company's profit is forecast at some 60 million pounds sterling for 1995.
