Do you know who your banker is?

Article Abstract:

Canada's Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) has released its latest report on a list of suspected bogus banks which may be attempting to deceive the public into making deposits. These entities are either intentional fraudulent operations or have not complied with Canadian federal bank laws prior to starting their operations. A scrutiny of the banks listed in OSFI's circular indicates that a considerable number of them exploit banks' existing brand equity and favor fashionable names.

Resumes: fact or fiction?

Article Abstract:

Some 33% of job applicants falsify their resumes or have past job-performance problems, according to a survey of 1,000 applicants undertaken by reference-checking firm Infocheck. There appears to have been a rise in resume fraud, but this could be attributable to employers checking information more thoroughly.
