Duracell International Inc one of the top maker and marketer of high performance alkaline batteries. The stock has been firm at the $35 area since Oct 1992 but the recent decline to the $30 level is noteworthy because a rebound has not occurred. Insider sales since Oct 1992 has also been evident. Three insiders cleared out 168,000 shares at the range of $31.88 to $35.25 and sales during the 4th qtr 1992 also escalated. Caution is recommended.

Enron Corp. insiders have begun selling company stocks after prices reached their all time high following a 12% increase in Sep. 1996. One executive sold 4,610 shares at $42.25 to $44.88 each between Oct. 17 and Nov. 1, 1996. VP Kenneth Lay disclosed plans to sell 75,000 shares while VP Jack Tommins intends to sell 25,000 shares. Officer Stanley Horton also announced plans to sell 24,990 shares.
