A large number of UK companies find themselves in the position of being eaccidental exportersE, with Internet and email advances making it possible for sudden orders to come in from Europe or further. Financial advisors direct these companies toward factoring or invoice discounting which can help in such unplanned scenarios where firms face a whole new area of complexity in terms of cash-flow management and cash collection.

Various professional fees protection insurance schemes are marketed by CCH but the Financial Services Authority regulates insurance mediation services, the provision of which necessitates either FSA authorization or a designated professional body license.
