Educated 401(k) participants keep cool under market fire

Article Abstract:

The Investment Company Institute reported that $3.1 billions were withdrawn from stock funds while the AMG Data Service reported there were withdrawals amounting to $9.7 billion in March 2001. However, The Fidelity Investments Retirement Services Co. reported that retirement funds comparatively refrained from joining the stampede and clung to their long-term plans.
