Experts: 'Civil War' brewing in Iraq

Article Abstract:

The threats of civil war in Iraq is spreading as the country struggles to redefine itself in the aftermath of Saddam Hussein's fall, which will determine whether Iraq emerges as a secular democracy or as an Islamic state, is reported as on 8th September 2004. The views of various experts consisting of optimistic as well as pessimistic approach in its regards, is presented.

Iraq insurgent numbers grim, analyst says

Analyst Michael Eisenstadt believes that the 'worst' ties directly to a tangible measure of the potential for trouble, namely, the size of the population pool upon which insurgents could draw. Iraq is working towards the adoption of a constitution, on which Iraqis are scheduled to vote in a referendum and the insurgency continues to threaten to disrupt the process.

EU officials: Biometric passports coming-eventually
