Derya Altan and her senior thesis project at Parsons has made an EMS Uniform prototype that comes with customized tool pockets and a stab-proof chest. Various administrators she contacted are surprised, amused and pleased by her student dream and by the idea that a budding fashionista would pay so much attention to their grunt-work needs and believe that comfort, versatility and visibility are all addressed in the redesign.
