Nintendo of America has launched the Game Boy Camera, which allows children to transform the hand-held video game with four games into a digital camera. Game Boy Camera is a regular hand-held video game attached with a movable camera lens that could be attached to a portable printer where children can print the pictures they have taken on sticker labels. The video game-camera, which also allows users to change the face of each games' main characters with any image they choose, was launched with the support of posters, in-store displays and special banners.

American Greetings offers alternative card display

Article Abstract:

American Greetings has launched a number of new greeting card lines that is supported by a new alternative cards strategy. The alternative cards strategy, which allows simultaneous and more extended display, includes three-spinner and six-spinner islands display. The new card line, launched with tagline "Just thinking of you," shows the rising demand for alternative cards that has grown to 34% in 1995 from 19% in 1986. The design of the display rack allows the presentation of wider range of card programs in one space.
