Fluke 30 Series clampmeters

Article Abstract:

The Fluke 30 Series clampmeters won a gold award in the equipment category of the 1992 I.D. Annual Design Review. The clampmeters, used by electricians and technicians in electrical power distribution systems diagnosis, were praised for their intelligent controls, exquisite detailing and functional yet interesting use of colors. The designers have clearly paid attention to small details in designing the simple device. John Fluke Manufacturing Company Inc's in-house designers Indle G. King, George L. McCain and Jeffrey C. Brown were the minds behind the award-winning tool design.

Superior Teletec Inc is a maker of copper cable and wire for the telecommunications sector. Four insiders got out of 102,800 shares between Dec 5, 1992, and Feb 26, 1993, at an average of $4.75 each. The firm released satisfactory 3rd qtr FY 1992 figures but three of the sellers still disposed of some shares following the announcement. Sheldahl, Inc

Article Abstract:

Investors continue to purchase a large number of shares of Sheldahl Inc. despite a projected loss of five cents a share for the fiscal year ended in August. The company attributes its financial problems and weak recovery to a decrease in product demand. However, the automotive sector and the curiosity about the company's new Novaclad processes may have caused the continued purchase of Sheldahl Inc.'s shares.
