The company has acquired Victaulic, which contributed an operating profit of 4.6 million pounds sterling for the last third of 1995. Exports increased by 33% to 182 million pounds. Weak demand for UK residential property affected the company's consumer products division. Investment and acquisitions will provide growth. The company's shares are seen as good value in Mar 1996.
