The company holds offices in Granton, North Edinburgh, Scotland where it operates 15 shops. It also has five franchise stores in Northern Ireland and engages in wholesale trade. Bargain Books has brightly dressed staff as part of its marketing strategy to attract all types of customers. The company forecasts earnings of 10 million pounds sterling and a growth rate of 25% for 1992.
