Hadleigh: solid prospects

The company's profit is forecast at 1.7 million pounds sterling for 1995 to 1996 by Bell Lawrie White.

Hadleigh Industries: better in bulk

Article Abstract:

Hadleigh Industries produces bulk tanks for transportation of gases and liquids and this market is expanding by some 10% annually. Universal Bulk Handling has accounted for much of Hadleigh's profits though the group's other operations are showing an improvement. Cookson and Zinn is a Hadleigh subsidiary producing storage tanks which should benefit from the implementation of European legislation on upgrading tanks at gasoline stations, which is likely to be implemented in 1996.

Time to take a brighter view of Hadleigh

Article Abstract:

Hadleigh has performed well, but this is not reflected in the company's stock price. Cookson and Zinn, which produce storage tanks, and UBH, which makes bulk tanks, have good prospects. There is competition from tank producers in South Africa which have tax advantages, and Hadleigh would benefit if those advantages were withdrawn. The company's financials are strong and Hadleigh's profit is forecast at 2.72 million pounds sterling for 1998 to 1999 by Albert E Sharo.
