Barking up the wrong tree

Article Abstract:

BESt Investment provides an annual 'Spot the Dog' guide where it identifies funds that have underperformed their benchmark index over the past three years, narrowing it down to funds where underperformance was greater than 10% over the three year period. Many fund management groups have reacted positively and have acted to improve their situation. There are five M&G funds in the UK Dog funds section, and Baillie Gifford British returned a 22.4% underperformance in the UK Small Companies dogs.
