Healthcare PR ranked as risky business in '99

The health care PR industry proved to be volatile in 1999 with firms either posting big increases or decreases. Porter Novelli, which posted $36.3 million in fees, ranked as the sector's leader. With $34.1 million in fees, Ketchum remained at the second spot while Edelman PR Worldwide stayed at number 3 with $32.3 million and a growth of 12.7%. Fleishman- Hillard came in fourth with $30.5 million while Ogilvy PR Worldwide ended in the fifth slot with almost $28 million.
