Research by the Gartner Group of Fairfield, CT, shows that 75% of business-to-business advertisers in World Wide Web sites make it hard for visitors to access data on their products and services. Information should be easily recognizable and accessible to the user. Information design is very important specially in interactive media because the user can easily be lost in the site. Helpful markers which tell the user where they are are very essential in letting users obtain the information they need.

Bozell making name for itself in the Valley; campaign for SyQuest's new 1 gigabyte SparQ drive aims to win over Zip users

Article Abstract:

Bozell Worldwide's office in Mountain View, CA, won an account from SyQuest Technology to advertise its SparQ removable hard drive. It is aiming to promote SparQ as an alternative to Iomega Corp's Zip drives. In line with this, Bozell plans to launch a campaign in Mar 1998 which will educate people on which drive is better by comparing its storage capacity. Priced at $199, SyQuest's one gigabyte hard drive slightly costs more than the 100 megabyte Zip drives which retails at $139.
