Jaya Real Property

Article Abstract:

Jaya Real Property is one of Indonesia's largest property developers, with revenues rising 3.7% during 1996, compared to 1995 figures. The firm works closely with the corporate world. It began developing Garden City Bintaro Ray, a city in Jakarta, and went public in 1994 with an offering of 35 million shares. Jaya's land permits are all located in the Jakarta area.

Building for Hong Kong's future

Article Abstract:

Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway, which was founded in 1979, operates a 43.2 kilometer-long subway through its MTR Corp. subsidiary. The subway system recorded traffic of 817 million and revenues of HK$5 billion in 1996. MTR Corp. also is a property developer, developing office and residential properties located above the subway system's stations.

The garden city

Article Abstract:

The Bintaro Jaya model city project, in Greater Jakarta, is one of Jaya Real Property's projects targeted at the low- to middle-income housing market. The city is designed to be self contained and includes a balance of retail, residential and corporate entities. The project, which is designed for about 45,000 residents, covers 5,700 acres.
