Keeping the lid on bad debt

Article Abstract:

It is important to prevent debts from disabling an ongoing business and, therefore, it is often necessary to keep abreast of accounts receivable collection processes. Tips are offered by an author with a legal background, who is familiar with debt collection difficulties experienced by direct marketers. Sensing profits

Article Abstract:

Profits can be increased when companies introduce direct marketing campaigns that are based on sensory marketing techniques. The direct marketer can reach a consumer via the six senses of taste, sight, sound, shape, touch, and color. In-store retailers have an advantage over direct marketers because they can more fully appeal to the six basic senses of consumers.

Survival of the fittest

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Postal Service cannot become competitive and profitable, because it is a basically inefficient government monopoly. The U.S. government must cease all federal subsidies to the Postal Service. For eventual survival, the Postal Service must focus its attention on the consumer. The services's ability to handle huge amounts of mail should be improved.
