Questionnaire helps identify top sales producers

Article Abstract:

The Comprehensive Personality Profile Questionnaire (CPP) developed by Larry Craft can help managers identify the most effective members of their sales force. The CPP was designed to measure emotional intensity, intuition, assertiveness, recognition motivation, sensitivity, trust and exaggeration. The most effective sales personnel usually get high scores in emotional intensity, intuition and assertiveness. Although it might be tempting for employers to hire only these high ego drive sales people, Craft says that low ego drive sales personnel can also prove useful to organizations. These people are best suited to mundane and repetitive tasks, such as those required of customer service positions. If would, therefore, be more prudent for employers to strive for a balanced sales team.
