Leadership styles and values chart the course for an entrepreneurial journey

Article Abstract:

The values and operating principles that are necessary in a leader in starting up a business are explored which shows that transparency in leadership is one of the most important values for a company's success. An effective leader is one who is dynamic, and is able to successfully communicate to the subordinates, the organizational goals that encourage the subordinates to put in a collective effort to achieve.

The tough economy prompts companies to shift their approach to sales compensation

Article Abstract:

The economy declined after the boom of the late 1990s due to the stiff competition and so many companies modified their sales compensation plans as a way to reduce costs with desirable results. The level upto which the companies needed to modify their sales compensation program depended on the level to which the existing program can support the new sales strategies.
