Opting for the traditional

Article Abstract:

Options on equities in the United Kingdom can be traded through the London International Financial Futures Exchange (Liffe), and those that do not go through Liffe are called 'traditional options.' Traditional options can cover a wider range of stocks than those covered by Liffe which number some 70 stocks. Traditional options doo, however, offer less flexibility in terms of selling and buying. Liffe offers standardized and interchangeable option contracts, and good information is available.

Go and buy the book

Article Abstract:

Information on options and futures trading is needed by investors considering entering this market. Investors' skills may not always be transferable since they have to learn to take a short-term approach to trading, as well as learning new terminology. Books provide initial information, and then investors can take part in training courses. The London International Financial Futures Exchange offers courses for professional and private investors.
