Low rates ... the flip side

Article Abstract:

Low interest rates are the main reason behind the heavy insider selling in the computer hardware, computer software and electronics/semiconductors industries. Insufficient economic activity brought about by the low confidence of consumers in the economy is, in turn, the primary factor behind the low interest rates. Despite these developments, the bond markets continue to exhibit strong growth. However, the risks of investing in the bond markets may need reassessment if heavy insider selling spreads to other industries.

Feeling passed up by the rally?

Article Abstract:

Lagging stocks can produce profits. Insider buying can be used as an indication of stocks which are good investments, an analytical technique which takes intuition and observation. When insiders postpone buying activities, it usually serves as a sign of adverse factors which may be present during that day. However, the market continues to be selective. Several stocks are listed as good investments like Chic by H.I.S., Brinker International and Cascade Natural Gas.
