Made in America: EADS would build LUH at Miss. plant

EADS North America reported that it would produce the UH-145 rotary wing aircraft, the company's offering for the Army Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), at the facility of its American Eurocopter subsidiary in Columbus, Mississippi in 2006. Operational since 2004, the Columbus facility currently handles a full range of manufacturing assembly and upgrade activities for American Eurocopter.
