Miller: business direct marketing tools often go under-utilized by clients

Article Abstract:

Technological advances have provided business direct marketers the capability to communicate with one another in the fastest and most efficienct way. Some of these tools include computers which provide data base information useful for precise targeting of mailings and productive telemarketing and fax machines useful for placing orders, verification and sending product specifications. The business direct marketers have coordinated with the Direct Marketing Assn and the US Postal Service to develop standards for business addresses and improve business direct marketing.
