Money for old computers

Article Abstract:

Computer auctions are a way for businesses to dispose of used computer equipment. Information regarding auctions can be obtained from local newspapersor special publications of auction companies. Most auctioneers impose a seller's premium between 10% to 15% and require that goods be delivered before the auction and removed afterwards. Settlement terms often last for 30 days to give buyers the chance to complain if the product does not meet the specifications on the auction catalog. Thus, sellers must ensure that accurate information about the product is provided to prevent refunds as well as having to wait for the next sale. In addition, the selling of updated software is considered illegal, although many auction companies seem interested in these. Steps should be taken to avoid any action by the Federation Against Software Theft.

A capitalist puts money where he feels it will grow

Article Abstract:

Negotiations between a venture capitalist and entrepreneur may take place over a long period of time as the two parties get to know and evaluate each other. The capitalist will want to make the right decision, and do so in a helpful way, but to his economic advantage. The entrepreneur should plan ahead and make a good first impression and also continue to present himself and his project in a good light. The investor will expect full disclosure from the beginning and will want to check on information given to him. Both sides should learn from each other and be cognizant of each other's position; good communication is an essential ingredient in the discussions.
