NCR's systems integrator alliances begin in its R&D labs

Article Abstract:

NCR Corp's marketing for its systems integrator alliances program is focused towards a core set of outsourcing companies. NCR works closely with Electronic Data Systems Corp (EDS) by making joint decisions on which of NCR's products will be most useful for EDS customers. NCR also works with Andersen Consulting on the needs of the latter's retail, financial and telecommunication industry clients. However, NCR wants to extend these relationships in earlier planning stages such as product research and development.
