NOAH's annual conference reflects on farming

Article Abstract:

The 15th annual conference of the United Kingdom's National Office of Animal Health included presentations on organic farming, the foot and mouth epidemic and the status of the agriculture industry. Speakers stressed the need to improve public perception of farming, preventative measures for epizootic disease and collaboration between the food supply chain and farming.

Dechra's chief executive resigns

Article Abstract:

Dechra Pharmaceuticals' chief executive, Gary Evans, has resigned and has been replaced by Ian Page. Mr. Evans' departure is believe to be due to differences of opinion with Dechra's management board. Under Mr. Page's leadership, Dechra plans to expand into new business areas beyond animal health, pharmaceuticals and veterinary products distribution.
