Alliant Defense Electronics Systems, Inc., Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $5,871,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0055 to exercise an option to procure 1,000 backplane and microprocessor circuit card assemblies for AN/AAR-47 optical sensor upgrade missile warning sets for the U.S. Navy (40.5%) and U.S. Air Force (59.5%). Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and is expected to be completed in December 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
