Article Abstract:

Integrated Systems Control, Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $6,278,363 indefinite-delivery type contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for software engineering services, systems engineering, technical and management support of Information System Security (INFOSEC) systems and programs. The Navy INFOSEC systems and programs provide information security capabilities on wide-area and local area networks and individual workstations and portable computers, automated Navy communications security report systems, warehouse equipment tracking, embedded INFOSEC products, secure telephone equipment and revise battlefield electronic communication operating instructions and systems. This contract contains four options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $32,751,054. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in November 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 72 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-99-D-5016).

Article Abstract:

Sierra Technologies, Inc., Sierra Research Div., Buffalo, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,974,997 split firm-fixed-priced contract for production of three AN/USQ-82 (V) fiber optic data multiplex systems (FODMS). The FODMS is the complete ship's information transfer system aboard DDG 51 class ships used to transfer data to and from the navigation system, damage control, alarm systems, propulsion plant, steering and various other systems. Work will be performed in Buffalo, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-99-C-5207).
