Naval Systems Associates, LC, Fulton, Md., is being awarded a $26,130,292 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for engineering services which will include a mix of naval architecture, marine engineering, systems analysis, systems definition, acquisition and planning to support the Ship Systems Program Directorate of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Carderock, Md. Work will be performed in Fulton, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 72 proposals solicited and four offers received. Tracor Applied Sciences, Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $16,642,462 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-97-C-1460 for technical and engineering support services for the integration and testing of radio communications systems for shipboard installation. Work will be performed in California, Md. (80%), St. Inigoes, Md. (10%), Bath, Maine (5%), and Pascagoula, Miss. (5%), and is expected to be completed in August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
