Article Abstract:

Tracor Aerospace Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $5,167,752 ceiling priced delivery order under a basic ordering agreement for 844,680 RR 180 dual chaff cartridges. These cartridges are air launched electronically reflective material used to confuse enemy radar. Work will be performed in Lillington, N.C., and is expected to be completed in January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with four proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-95-G-0827, Order 0003).

Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, St. Paul, Minn., is being awarded an $8,169,132 modification to a previously awarded contract N00019-94-C-0156 for hardware procurement and the installation of 181 replacement data storage systems for the P-3C aircraft, including the P-3 anti-surface warfare improvement program. Work will be performed in Eagan, Minn., and is expected to be completed in September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
