CNO Clark sees LCS fleet of 75-100 ships

Article Abstract:

Seventy-five to hundred vessels of the fleet of Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) grow rather than the 50 to 60 that were expected. The US Navy would not have to give up planned systems or capabilities the way the Navy might have to in order to cut costs of other new classes of vessels but would get those ships for the agreed upon price of $220 million per LCS.
