Northrop signs BAE Systems for ACS contract proposal

Article Abstract:

The signals intelligence gear to be a part of the Aerial Common Sensor (ACS) platform in the modified Gulfstream G450 aircraft will be provided by BAE systems through its Diamond open-architecture system as proposed by Northrop Grumman Corp who will provide the multi-aircraft geolocation expertise. Meanwhile, an opposing team headed by Lockheed Martin Corp., Embraer and Harris Corp. will provide the intelligence processing systems and communications gear and are offering a militarized Embraer EMB 145.

Northrop Grumman, Boeing square off on jammer bid

Article Abstract:

The main contenders for the contract for retrofitting B-52 bombers with 'stand-off jammer (SOJ)' systems involving pre-system development and demonstration (SDD) work are Northrop Grumman and the Boeing Company and BAE Systems. The work lies in the area of defense known as airborne electronic attack (AEA) that attacks enemies' electronic systems, such as radars, electronic grids, phone lines etc.

South Australia lures defense contractors with incentives

South Australia is planning to offer specific incentives to the European and United States (U.S.) defense contractors in order to attract them to South Australia and start building plants there. Defense contractors like BAE Systems, SAAB, and Raytheon Co. have already moved to South Australia as the South Australian government plans to award big money contracts over the coming years.
