One ledger may be all you need

Article Abstract:

SunAccount, a software ledger package from Systems Union of Great Britain, is one of the first computer programs that introduces new ideas for processing accounts and, at the same time, follows traditional accounting concepts. The SunAccount ledger consists of a file of actual transactions and a file of budget transactions, and calculations are carried out each time they are needed. The system is flexible enough to match the needs of the individual user or company, and can be asked to display the details of each account. SunAccount sells for between 1,475 and 4,750 pounds sterling, depending upon the number of users for the system.
