Out with the old, in with the new

Article Abstract:

The changing expectations of corporate directors and corporate shareholders are discussed as the new code and the old code respectively. The shareholders advocate loyalty to the chair and not making a stir among themselves. The directors want to take the responsibility and management duties seriously doing whatever it takes to be right.

Article Abstract:

Until the 1980's, corporate boards of directors were irrelevant but legally necessary to oversee management decisions, corporate governance was then established to allow shareholders' interests to be the boards' concern. Corporate governance connects the investors and companies, giving shareholders a voice among the boards.

Governing corporations

Article Abstract:

Corporate Boards are more financially literate and are being held accountable by shareholders for the success of the company. Recent boards are being analyzed and now directors are also expected to be diverse.
