Article Abstract:

The Home Office has issued proposals to make bribery investigation clearer and easier. These proposals include bribery investigations proposal of the Home Department, Credit card cheques and Company Law Reform Bill from the Trade & Industry Department, Employment Law from the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT), SMP and SSP rate changes, Single on-line filing of accounts, Late payment of commercial debts act, and Statutory Instruments.

The factors associated for the emergence of UK anti-money laundering law and regulation that exist to support the fight against crime, including terrorism are discussed. The scope of money laundering such as failure to report knowledge or suspicion of money laundering can result in jail sentence of up to five years.
