Adams/Morioka
Article Abstract:
Sean Adams and Noreen Morioka are renowned designers of the United States. After education at CalArts, Adams joined the design department at the New York Public Library, while Morioka joined the Landor Associates. Adams also became the design director at April Greiman Inc.. Noreen and Adams established their own firm in 1993. They entered the corporate world in 1996 by merging their firm with Maddocks & Company, where they are appointed as co-creative directors. Their designs are simpler than that of other Angelenos, but more relaxed than European modernist tradition.

Steve Kaneko/Microsoft
Article Abstract:
Steve Kaneko is the design manager at the Hardware Group in Microsoft Corporation. After studying industrial design at the University of Washington, Kaneko worked in Technology Design and Fluke Corporation before joining Microsoft in 1991. He designed the Microsoft Mouse 2.0 that won many design awards. He also organized a design group in Microsoft with specialists in industrial design, ergonomics, modelling and user interface. The products of the group include the EasyBall, the SideWinder 3-D joystick, the Natural Keyboard, the BallPoint mouse and the Intellimouse.
