Personnel training for safer material handling

Article Abstract:

Research was done to evaluate the state of personnel training for safer materials handling. Earlier training programs have not been highly successful because of the lack of scientific support and the variety of training goals for different materials handling conditions. Experimental design and control were also absent in most training programs. Thus, the research aims to organize personnel training issues and develop proper training methods.

Resource allocation efficiency as an indicator of boredom, work performance and absence

Article Abstract:

Resource allocation efficiency was hypothesized to be the indicator of boredom and work behaviour such as absenteeism. Eighty-nine randomly selected clerical volunteers were the subjects. They were asked to complete a series of computer-based tasks in which puzzle-solving speed was measured as an indicator of resource allocation efficiency. The model was shown to be a direct way to predict consistency in work-related behaviors.
