Property is stronger than ever

Article Abstract:

Manchester is a major UK real estate market and the market has grown despite predictions that it would remain stable. Demand for office space is strong in southern Manchester though supply has not kept up with demand. Rents are rising but developers have yet to respond. Two business parks are planned which could help the market. The investment market is also performing well in 1996. Trading volumes dropped in 1st half 1996, but there is still interest from institutions, the problem is that there are not enough tradeable prperties, analysts argue.
