The Isle of Man has developed trust law based on English law which has particular strengths compared to other types of law such as Roman law. Trusts have to stand up to legal threats since many motives may exist for seeking to break trusts. Trusts benefit when a body of law is well established. This means that new laws must be considered carefully. There is also a danger of changing Manx law to find that UK law does not change in the same direction.

It's the x-height, stupid!
Article Abstract:
Ionic was a popular work-horse in Britain and the US, which became the choice for Linotype to direct at its biggest market in the 19th century. It was the first design promoted by Linotype for newspaper use as its x-height gives a clear and the best readable version. Other designs which competed with Ionic were Nimrod, Lucida, Charter, Century Expanded, Century Old Style and Schoolbook.

Casein kinase II in theileriosis
Article Abstract:
Research has determined that casein kinase II (CKII) may enable Theileria parva-infected T lymphocytes to gain the ability to infiltrate tissues. Increased levels of CKII, a seine-threonine-specific protein kinase, is found in lymphocyte cell lines from infected cattle.
