Remote control

Article Abstract:

Robotic surgery systems are no longer a thing of the future because of Intuitive Surgical, Inc. The company makes surgical instruments that are operated by a computer with a three-dimensional, high resolution display and hand controls that mimic the surgeon's hand movements. The machine's deftness lets it work on three one-centimeter incisions. This results in precise surgeries and faster patient recovery. The design of the system takes into acount the need for safe and working technology without distracting the surgeon.
