Retirement: preparing for an uncertain future

Article Abstract:

The author discusses problems surrounding retirement finance and suggests the use of financial planning tools which may be beneficial. Many people believe that a predetermined income amount is all that is necessary for security. However, more certainty may be gained with the use of vehicles such as annuities and insurance with coverage for long-term care, life, or disability.
