Kerry Blain Inc. accountant Linda Allen has taken up cycling to complement her weight training. She a gold medal at the 1994 British Columbia Summer Games in Kelowna, BC. Although a rule change in the Summer Games disqualifies her from further competing in British Columbia, Allen intends to continue competing in other provincial cycling competitions. Allen and her boss, Kerry Blain, begin intensive training after the tax season, cycling about 10,000 km. a month during the peak training season.

Article Abstract:

Clarkson Biddell, a 77-yr.-old retired partner of Ernst and Young in Toronto, gave Canada's federal government a detailed report in which he suggests measures that could help the government put its finances back in order. Biddell has written two books on federal finance and has also served in public office. Biddell said that his main purpose in trying to help the government is that he wants to make Canada a better place for his grandchildren.
