The British Council of Offices (BCO), which celebrates its sixth anniversary in 1996, is firmly committed to improving the workplace environment in the UK. Its main aims are to understand issues relating to workplace design and construction; to understand how work is changing and how firms use work space; to understand how the way workplace locations are driven by and also drive the way cities work; and to understand the development and investment issues impacting on workspace provision.

SHL: testing the market

Article Abstract:

SHL may use stock flotation proceeds to cary out acquisitions. The company aims to raise a minimum of 10 million pounds sterling of new money and is seeking to expand in the US. The company has expanded since it was set up, as demand for staff tests has increased. Test sales account for around 40% of revenue, while training on using tests and understanding results accounts for the remainder. The company also provides help with programs for recruitment and staff assessment.

Rice is leading a campaign to discredit Copeland's St. Charles Avenue restaurant as a locally unwanted land use (LULU).
