Security company turns Games into gold

Sensormatic Electronic Corp. succeeded in its goal to generate new business by becoming the first official electronics security supplier of the 1996 Olympics. The company provided nearly $20 million worth of security systems which included video surveillance equipment, access control technology and electronic article tagging. This investment has paid off with nearly $30 million of new business from blue chip companies following the games.
